Stop au tabac

I was at my dentist and as she was cleaning my teeth she remarked " You are a smoker"...I said yes, and she told me about the day her daughter told her to ready the Allen Carr book to stop smoking. I began the book two weeks before my Summer holidays. After 25 years of smoking, there indeed was a doubt in my mind that I would ever stop smoking. As all concerned parents, my Mother never stopped saying that she wished I would stop smoking...without any success. The 1st thing that surprised me was the phrase " Do not stop smoking while reading this book"...! a novel method. I arrived at my parents home for the summer holidays, having finished smoking 2 days before...my parents did not mention anything until the afternoon, where I said " Notice anything different?"...My mother said " Yes, but I did not dare mention it...you are not smoking"...so I confirmed my Mother's most fervent wish by saying "Yes, I no longer smoke" :) That was 1 and a half years ago and everyday I am thankful not to be smoking. Thank You, Merci, Grazie, Danke, Gracias for Everything - Smoke Free and always will be.
